Radiant Optimizer games · unofficial guide

Radiant Optimizer games: what actually runs in your browser.

The Radiant Optimizer post promised Black Ops Zombies, Halo, Skate 3 and more, all in a browser. We went through every title on the list and sorted it: what you can play right now, what needs your own copy, and what we won't link.

01 / The list

Every game from the post.

Black Ops maps are listed separately, the way the post listed them. Open any card for what it is, what it needs and the legitimate way to play.

  • Free to tryUses demo, shareware or freely released data.
  • Bring your own copyEngine runs in the browser; you load files from a copy you own.
  • Fan recreationNew code with regenerated or openly licensed assets. Not the original game files.
  • Not linkedExists on the list, but we don't link hosts that serve commercial game files or don't say where their data comes from.
Diagram of the four kinds of browser game on the Radiant Optimizer list: engine ports with free demo data such as Quake, Half-Life and Diablo; ports that need your own files such as Halo CE and GTA Vice City; fan recreations such as Skate 3 and CS Surf; and re-hosted commercial files such as Black Ops Zombies and PES 6.

We ran them ourselves.

Will it run on your machine?

Most of these ports lean on WebAssembly, WebGL 2 and, for the heavier ones, SharedArrayBuffer. School Chromebooks and older browsers often miss one of them, which is why a game hangs on a black screen. Our browser check tests all of it in about a second, without installing anything.

Run the browser check
How classic PC games like Quake and Half-Life run in a browser: the game's source code is compiled to WebAssembly and WebGL, then combined with free demo data or files from your own copy. Needs WebAssembly, WebGL 2 and sometimes SharedArrayBuffer.
How classic PC games end up in a browser tab: open or decompiled source code, compiled to WebAssembly, plus game data.

03 / Two different things

Radiant Optimizer is not a game.

Radiant Optimizer is Windows tuning software. Its official site offers a free edition and a $57 one-time lifetime licence for Windows 10 and 11, with claims of 400+ tweaks and 20 game profiles. The browser games came from a viral post on its X account; they are third-party projects, and buying the optimizer doesn't unlock them.

04 / Questions

Quick answers.

Is Radiant Optimizer a game?

No. Radiant Optimizer is paid Windows tuning software with a free edition. The browser games came from a viral post by its X account; they are separate third-party projects, and buying the optimizer does not give you access to them.

Where is the full Radiant Optimizer games list?

This site covers every title shown in the post's image: 24 entries, with Black Ops maps listed separately. Each entry says whether it is free to try, needs your own copy, is a fan recreation, or is not linked.

Why don't you link Black Ops, MW2 or PES 6?

Those hosts serve commercial game files without a demo licence or an owned-copy check. We explain what they are and how to play the real games, but we don't send traffic to them.

Which games can I actually play right now for free?

Quake, Quake II, Quake III Arena, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Half-Life (Uplink demo), Diablo (shareware), CS Surf, the Skate 3 fan recreation and Minecraft Classic all run without owning anything.

Will these games work on my Chromebook or school laptop?

Many will run on a Chromebook if the browser supports WebGL 2 and WebAssembly; our browser check tells you in a few seconds. Follow your school's device and network rules. This site does not help bypass filters.

Are these games safe?

The linked projects run inside your browser tab and do not ask you to install anything. Be wary of any 'browser game' that asks for an extension, an .exe or your account password.

Is this site official?

No. TabArcade is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with Radiant Optimizer or any game publisher.
