What it actually is

GeoFS simulates flight over a global landscape built from geographic data and satellite imagery. It includes aircraft selection, location presets and configurable weather. The standard browser experience is free, while enhanced imagery and other paid offerings have separate terms.

How to play GeoFS

  1. Open the official GeoFS site and choose Fly.
  2. Choose standard free imagery rather than subscribing if you want the free experience.
  3. Read Instructions, pick an aircraft and start with a familiar location.

Tips for your first session

  • Start with a simple aircraft while learning the controls.
  • Reduce graphics settings if scenery loading interrupts flight.

The legitimate way to play

This is the official GeoFS website. Standard imagery is offered free; an HD subscription and GeoFS PRO are separate paid products. This listing does not promise those paid features.

If GeoFS won't load

  • Allow JavaScript and give the project time to load on a stable connection. Open the original site in its own tab, then reload once if the interface does not appear.
  • Check the requirements above for GeoFS. Graphics-based games can require hardware acceleration; text and number puzzles do not share the same graphics requirements as engine ports.
  • Check the project’s save options before clearing site data. Private browsing and automatic storage cleanup can remove locally stored progress. Follow your school or workplace rules if a managed network blocks the site.

Chromebook, phone and tablet

A desktop or Chromebook with hardware-accelerated graphics is recommended. GeoFS also offers mobile apps, but those are separate from the desktop browser experience described here.

Is GeoFS completely free?

Standard browser flight with standard imagery is free. HD imagery and GeoFS PRO are separate paid offerings.

Do I need to buy flight-simulator files?

No. The official browser simulator supplies its own aircraft and environment; you do not need files from another simulator.
